Complete Preset Library
The Complete Preset Library is packed with 186 presets and 60 impulse responses (and growing) that cover a wide range of uses. Due to the growing size of the Complete Preset Library, I've decided to split it up into smaller categories at a lower cost for those only looking for a specific portion of the entire thing - sub-folders are listed below. All of the preset libraries come with access to a Google Drive folder (see the included .pdf). This is my way of keeping you updated any time I come out with new presets to add to any of these bundles at no additional cost. Complete Preset Library
This collection of presets that I've been refining and adding to since 2019, over the course of many perforances with the HX Stomp. 186 presets sounds ridiculous, but keep in mind this is a 5-year (and ongoing) project. Everything is organized and it comes with a detailed .pdf. For new Helix users, this is a great way to jumpstart your own preset library.

Electric Guitar Preset Library
The 2024 update for the Electric Guitar Preset Library now contains separate versions of every single electric guitar preset I've made for both single coil and humbucking pickups. 12 presets for archtop jazz guitar and 12 stereo dual-amp presets are also thrown in. Also included in this bundle is the jazz guitar presets . These are the same presets that I personally use live and they have been refined many times over the last 5 years that the library has existed.

Acoustic Preset Library
The acoustic preset library is a collection of the flat top steel string, nylon string, mandolin, ukulele, and (just one) banjo presets that I've developed over the last few years. I've also created custom impulse response collections for the first four instruments to go along with these presets. The required IRs are included, but I've added many more so you can customize the presets to your own preferences. The IRs are incredibly important to getting a convincing amplified tone from pickups and I plan to expand upon these IR bundles as I have availability to more pickups.

Special Effects Library
The special effects library is filled with an odd combination of sounds that do anything but conventional. There are a few ambient and LoFi presets, a couple that are made to emulate a synthesizer, and a select group of oddball effects that I've designed with a special combination of blocks that work together to make a certain effect. One of my most used presets splits your guitar in half so the lowest octave gets pitch shifted down and the rest of the guitar stays in the normal range, which allows you to play bass and guitar parts at the same time.

Bass Preset Library
At to the requests of many, I've created the Bass Preset Library. This bundle contains all of (and nothing else but) the bass presets found in the large preset library mentioned above. This is the answer to those who wanted to purchase only my bass presets at a lower cost. Just like the original library, future updates are always free. With this purchase, you'll get access to a Google Drive folder that'll serve as my way of delivering the revisions to you. These are the same presets that I personally use live.

Premium Amp Tones
The Premium Amp Tone bundles each feature 3 distinct presets (available in variations tuned for humbucker and single coil pickups) that I've meticulously tuned to best recreate iconic amplifiers. Think of these as heading to a guitar shop and picking out the perfect amp, overdrive, and compression pedal combination. The presets in these bundles focus on nailing all of your needs for clean, overdriven, and medium-high gain tones. They are limited to 7 or 8 blocks - so on the HX Stomp, you've got a variety of straightforward amp, overdrive, and compression tones and on the larger Helix units, a firm foundation for designing your own versatile presets. Amp Tone Collection
The amp tone collection features every amp tone bundle at a discount compared to purchasing them separetely. Each preset comes with a compressor (footswitch 1) and an overdrive pedal (footswitch 2) that have been dialed in to work well with that amp. In addition to those gain stages, footswitch 3 will toggle between various amp settings for even more control within a single preset. Each bundle contains three presets based on that amp and I’ve created two versions of each of the three presets - one for single coils and one for humbuckers. All presets share the same layout and are level-matched so it's as easy a scrolling through and landing on the tone you need at that moment.

Dumble ODS & SSS
One preset simulates the coveted "clean overdrive" style parallel compression present in the Steel String Singer and two presets cover various medium-high gain tones of the Overdrive Special. This is my most popular Amp Tone bundle.
Included Presets:
• EGx_Dumble_1 - Steel String Singer emulation using a US Double Nrm amp model + always on compressor blended in parallel with a minotaur drive pedal. Overdrive comes from the Dyhana Drive (Zen Drive) pedal and a Deluxe Compressor dialed in for a smooth, sutaining tone to compliment the SSS.
• EGx_Dumble_2 - medium gain Overdrive Special preset using the Litigator amp model and dual cabs with the 1x12 Deluxe and 4x10 Tweed cabs. Overdrive comes from the Valve Driver and Vital Boost, and compression from the Ampeg Opto Comp.
• EGx_Dumble_3 - high gain Overdrive Special amp tone with the Litigator amp model and combined Deluxe 1x12 & 4x10 Tweed cabs. Also features the Dhyana Drive in parallel with a dry path.

1959 Fender 5E3 Tweed
This preset bundle contains 3 contrasting amp tones that are characteristic of Tweed-style amplifiers. One preset represents a Bassman at reasonable volume where it works as a beautiful, warm clean platform and two presets simulate that recognizable 5E3 Tweed amp overdrive. Great for blues guitar tones.

• EGx_Tweed_1 - light, edge of breakup tone using the Tweed Blues amp and cab. It's paired with the Alpaca Rouge (Way Huge Red Llama) overdrive and the LA Studio Comp (LA-2A).
• EGx_Tweed_2 - overdriven tone using the Fullerton Nrm amp and cab. It's paired with the Heir Apparent (Prince of Tone) overdrive and the Ampeg Opto Comp (optical compressor).
• EGx_Tweed_3 - saturated, high gain tone using the Fullerton Jump amp and cab. It's paired with the Deranged Master (Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster) and the Deluxe Compressor (set up for very smooth, sustaining compression).

Mesa / Boogie Lone Star
Two presets simulate the fantastic low to mid gain offerings of the Lone Star amp. The 3rd preset uses the Mark IV amp model for some higher gain tones in a similar style. These are some of my favorite go-to amp sounds for jazz/fusion.
Included Presets:
• EGx_LoneStar_1 - a clean amp tone with a toggle for light overdrive using the Cali Texas Ch 1 amp and Cali Ext cabinet. It's paired with the Minotaur (Klon) overdrive and the Kinky Comp (SP compressor) that really crushes the signal.
• EGx_LoneStar_2 - a medium gain crunch amp tone using the Cali Texas Ch 2 amp and Cali Ext cabinet. It's paired with the Scream 808 (80 Tubescreamer) overdrive and a light LA Studio comp setting (LA-2a tube compressor).
• EGx_LoneStar_3 - modern, high gain amp tone using the Cali IV Rhythm 2 model with the 4x12 Cali V 30 cabinet. It's paired with the Vital Dist (Earthquaker Life) and the Rochester comp.

Magnatone Twilighter
Two presets emulate a tighter sound reminiscent of the reissue Magnatones. One preset recreates a well-loved vintage sample that has been run hard with plenty of power amp breakup. All presets feature stereo cabs, but sum to mono nicely.
Included Presets:
• EGx_Magnatone_1 - a completely clean base amp tone from the Deluxe Nrm amp. Footswitch 3 introduces a bit of breakup to the amp tone. Footswitch 2 will engage the Heir Apparent (Prince of Tone) overdrive. Plus, a Rochester comp set for fast attack.
• EGx_Magnatone_2 - this is a light to medium gain preset with the same amp. More overdrive comes from the Teemah! (Paul Cochrane Timmy) and slow tube compression (LA Studio Comp).
• EGx_Magnatone_3 - this is a vintage-voiced preset with a cranked Deluxe Vib amp model. Additional drive, boost, and EQ shaping comes from the Tone Sovereign's two stages. There's also a Deluxe Comp set up for a smooth, sustaining lead tone.

Vox AC30 - Fawn & Essex
Two presets for the players who like to use the modern Vox as an edge-of-breakup machine with pedals for gain staging. The 3rd preset is a vintage voicing - a dimed non-master volume AC15 with plenty of power amp distortion, even more when boosted.
Included Presets:
• EGx_VoxAC30_1 - the cleanest preset, sitting right at the edge of breakup with the Essex A30 amp & Blue Bell cab models. Uses the Teemah! (Paul Cochrane Timmy) for additional overdrive and the Kiny Comp (SP compressor) set to crush the incoming signal.
• EGx_VoxAC30_2 - a mildly overdriven base amp tone that you can toggle to a more intense preamp drive using the A30 Fawn amp model. More overdrive and mid shaping comes from the Minotaur (Klon overdrive). You also get a mild LA Studio Comp.
• EGx_VoxAC30_3 - high gain vintage preset using the Essex A15 amp model. It's paired with a Deranged Master (treble booster) to help shape the tone into a great for lead tone. Also features Deluxe Compressor set up for a very smooth, sustaining tone.

All-Purpose Presets
All-Purpose Preset Bundles function as an easy fix to encompass an entire genre of music. There is one main preset design in each bundle with multiple variations to suit your specific guitar and playing style. These presets make the absolute most out of the HX Stomp's 8 blocks and are set up in footswitch mode with parameter changes that are interactive across the entire preset to get you the most versatility. These complete presets are meant to act as your entire rig, meaning that you can show up with just your instrument and HX Stomp and plug directly into the FOH console or FRFR speaker. No amp needed. I also include a "Favorites" folder with these bundles, which contains a collection of effects that are meticulously dialed in for the specific genre of that preset bundle. ~$8~
Surf & Spaghetti Western
You actually get two presets in multiple variations inspired by Dick Dale, Mark Speer, Ennio Morricone, and other legends of the Psychedelic / Spaghetti Western / Surf guitar tones.
• FS1 - toggles between various reverb tones.
• FS2 - DS-1 or Rat distortion in the Spaghetti Western presets, a fixed wah in the Psychedelic / Surf presets.
• FS3 - toggles between an edge-of-breakup and a medium gain tone using various amp and cab parameters.
• FS4 - engages a delay. Slapback on the Spaghetti Western presets and a tone match of the Strymon El Capistan for Surf.
• FS5 - momentary delay feedback.
• FS6 - 3.5db solo boost | • FS7 - tube tremolo, mono or stereo
• FS8 - Phaser, your choice of MXR, EHX, & Boss tones.
Praise & Worship
The basic tone is a smooth, mildly overdriven stage that reacts to your playing dynamics and breaks up nicely when pushed. 12 total variations for pickup type, delay type, and volume control type.
• FS1 - toggles between an edge-of-breakup and a medium to high gain lead tone using 8 different amp and pedal parameters.
• FS2 - engages a tape delay. Percussive (think U2/The Edge) in tap tempo presets and more general in fixed delay presets.
• FS3 - reserved for tap tempo in the tap tempo presets. In the fixed delay presets, it toggles between two different delay tones.
• FS4 - engages a Strymon Bloom reverb emulation.
• FS5 - wild card slot, see the included "favorites" effects folder

Free Presets
I tune each of my presets through different front of house systems and studio monitors to ensure they perform consistently across whatever medium you'll be using. I proof them in rehearsal and during loud live performances. I think you'll find that they cut through the mix well and are incredibly versatile on account of how they're designed in footswitch mode. Divided by 13 all-purpose

Frequently Asked Questions
• Are these Helix or HX Stomp presets? - All of the presets on my site have been designed on the HX Stomp XL with the original HX Stomp in mind. They are a maximum of 8 blocks and operate in stompswitch mode (no snapshot data, except for in the free HX Stomp XL starter bundle). The core of the presets exist on footswitches 1-3, with extra effects being controlled by FS4 & FS5, a clean 3.5db boost on FS6, and other effects when available on FS7 & FS8. With that said, they do load in just fine on the larger Helix units and I know many customers use them with the larger devices.
• What is a Complete Preset? - A complete preset is one that is designed for those who need their HX Stomp to act as their entire rig with no support from external pedals. These presets are packed to the brim with amp simulation, IR processing, and effects. Please note - the Complete Preset Library is a large collection of "Complete Presets" and is not meant to include any of the amp tone or all-purpose bundles.
• What is an Amp Tone Preset? - The premium amp tone bundles were created to offer presets that solely focus on various combinations of amp, overdrive, and compressed tones. They use the 8 available blocks in footswitch mode with parameter adjustments that interact across the entire preset. For example: engaging overdrive from a pedal may also alter settings in the amp/cab block, or a switch intended to alter amp settings for a more overdriven tone may also change some settings in the pedal overdrive so that they operate as best as possible when stacked. These bundles also contain a library of saved compression, reverb, and tremolo tones that you can easily swap in and out of the presets I've created. For HX Stomp and XL users, you might consider using external pedals for modulation, delay, reverb, wah, etc. For those on the larger Helix units, these presets serve as a template for adding your own effects to as needed.
• What is an All-Purpose Preset? - These bundles attempt to encompass an entire genre of music with just one or two presets. I offer many different variations of each preset to suite the type of guitar you play, what sort of sounds you might need, and different configurations in which you might be using your HX Stomp (expression / external footswitches). These bundles also contain a favorite effects library with saved effect settings tailored to that genre.
• Will your presets work on HX Effects? - I can confidently say that the only presets that will work on HX Effects are the presets from my Acoustic Library of complete presets - that is because these are the only presets that do not use amp simulation. Everything else here really relies on the amp simulation not available with the HX Effects.
• Will your presets work with Helix Native? - All of my presets exist in stompswitch mode. Helix Native is set up to prefer snapshots, however you can use these presets in stompswitch mode just fine. Check out the Helix Native manual pages 14 & 15 for information on loading these presets in HC (hardware compatibility) mode. When prompted, make sure you select HX Stomp XL as the original device since that is what I create these presets on.
• Will these presets work with PodGo? - No. Helix and HX Stomp presets are not compatible with PodGo, even though these use a lot of the same software. However, I do have specific PodGo presets available on this page.
